Privacy Policy
This notice explains how Basswin handles the personal information you share when you register, fund your account and use the platform. It also sets out your choices about that information and how to use them.Information collected about you
When you open an account, we record your full name, date of birth, residential address, email, phone number and chosen currency. To meet anti-money-laundering and age-verification duties, we may later ask for copies of photo ID, proof of address or evidence of where your funds come from.
While you use the site, our systems log your IP address, device type, browser version, approximate location, login times, game rounds, deposits and withdrawals. Messages exchanged with our support staff, whether by live chat or email, are also kept on file.
Payment details are processed by third-party payment providers. We store only the limited references needed to match your transactions, not full card numbers.
Purposes behind the processing
Your information is used to create and maintain your account, pay out winnings, verify your identity, detect fraud or collusion, and respond to your support requests. Some of these activities are required by law, while others are necessary to deliver the service you signed up for.
We also study usage patterns in anonymised or aggregated form to fix bugs, improve load times and decide which games to add. Marketing emails and SMS are sent only if you have opted in, and you can withdraw that consent at any time from your profile or through the unsubscribe link in each message.
Behavioural data may also trigger safer-gambling interventions. For example, if activity suggests possible harm, our team may contact you or apply protective limits.
Who receives your data
We share information only with parties that help us operate: payment processors, identity-verification services, game studios that host rounds on their servers, cloud hosting providers and fraud-prevention specialists. Each of them is bound by contractual confidentiality and data-security terms.
Law enforcement agencies, regulators and courts may receive data where disclosure is legally required. Some of our partners are located outside the United Kingdom, so transfers may be protected by standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
Cookies and tracking
Essential cookies keep you logged in and remember your session settings. Optional analytics and advertising cookies are set only after you accept them in the consent banner, and you can change that choice later through the cookie settings link in the footer.
Blocking every cookie in your browser may stop parts of the lobby, cashier or live games from working properly.
Retention and your rights
Account and transaction records are generally kept for at least five years after an account closes, because anti-money-laundering rules require it. Chat transcripts and technical logs are deleted sooner, once they no longer serve a security or service purpose.
Under UK GDPR you may ask for a copy of your data, correct inaccurate details, object to certain processing, or request deletion where no legal duty requires us to keep it. We will verify your identity before acting and aim to reply within one calendar month. If you are unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
